Play from Your Partner’s Position

Playing great doubles is mostly about position. A good tip is to try to anticipate what shot your partner will hit by imagining yourself in her position. For example, what should you do if you’re in the up position and your partner in the back position and is forced really wide? Anticipate the possible return options she has (lob, down the line) and move to the best position (back and towards the “T”).

Imagining yourself in your partner’s shoes can help you move to the right position and help your team play great doubles.
