We are very proud to announce that Pure Tennis will now be offering both our portable indoor/outdoor FUN-tastic Junior Development Tennis & Golf Programs to the wonderful kids at Saint Thomas More Catholic School this spring!
Our spring 2024 session will begin with Tennis on Friday afternoon, February 9th, and Golf on Tuesday, February 13th, with both programs scheduled from 3:15-4:15 for an extended twelve week session!
Our Tennis sessions on Friday afternoons will be offered to those STM students in grades PK-6 but Golf sessions on Tuesdays will be limited to STM students in grades 1-6, Each 60 minute session will be limited so please remember to SIGN UP early to ensure a slot in our popular and successful after-school programs that your child will find both challenging and FUN!
Quick-Start Tennis (Grades PK-6) Fridays 3:15-4:15
Quick-Start Tennis for Kids is a group learn/play activity featuring action-based tennis drills and games for children in grades PK-6 of all ability levels.
We will be encouraging a wide array of skill sets which can easily cross over to other sports; running, catching, striking, 3-step movement patterns, aerobic, anaerobic, team building and the ability to play the sport for a lifetime. Each lesson is full of games that incorporate tennis skills to ensure players are engaged and most importantly, having fun!
This program emphasizes movement and fun using age-appropriate equipment in addition to developing tennis and athletic skills while improving health and fitness!

- Focus is on the development of balance, coordination and agility.
- Creates a pathway to attract new junior tennis players and to broaden the pool for player development.

Play-Makers JR. Golf Program (Grades 1-6) Tuesdays 3:15-4:15
Using the school gymnasium or field, Pure Tennis & Golf conducts classes right on your school’s property immediately following school.
This level introduces kids to the FUN-Damentals of golf in a safe and supervised environment that promotes curiosity about the game. Introductory SNAG Equipment are utilized to make each session safe and fun while progressively improving golf knowledge and skills. We use world renowned SNAG Golf and U.S. Kids Golf equipment and coaching programs, along with LPGA research-based instruction protocols.
Our program is modified and designed specifically for kids in grades 1-6 using age-specific equipment and age-appropriate instructional level system that will ensure that your child will progress through the various stages of the sport in a FUN and stimulating environment.
The program uses colorful and exciting equipment to make the sport a fun and engaging activity for young children.
Our golf programs are designed to emphasize FUN and excitement which are qualities that foster enjoyment for the game! This key ingredient is of paramount importance in keeping a child’s love of the game alive!
Our coaches have years of experience teaching kids the wonderful game of golf and their knowledge, patience and understanding of how to encourage children and bring out their best allows us to build a positive learning experience for our players!
